Description:

The OpenShift Security Day is ideally an additional day to the Red Hat OpenShift Architecture Workshop and is an opportunity to deep dive into the unique security features offer by OpenShift.

The workshop covers:

  • The standard security features that come with OCP, why they are there and how to position this in discussions with costumers (immutable image, SELinux, encrypted communication …).
  • OpenShift RBAC concepts and how to integrate into existing IAM solutions.
  • Security monitoring
  • How to build and run containers securely


Prerequisites:

Attendance at the Red Hat OpenShift Architecture Workshop


Outcome:

Having attended this workshop, students will:

  • have a better understanding of the importance of IT-Security when it comes to containerization.
  • be better abe to position these features build-in into OpenShift.
  • be able to architect and design integration scenarios.
