The Partner Program

The Red Hat Partner Program is the foundation of the relationship between you, the marketplace experts, and Red Hat, the world's leading open source company. Red Hat's partners play an integral role in our go-to-market strategy and overall success.

The Red Hat Partner Program has three levels:

Red Hat Ready Business Partner

Entry level into the partner program or for partners with an opportunity-driven Red Hat business.

Red Hat Advanced Business Partner

Qualified partners with Red Hat certified expertise and a track record of completing successful Red Hat projects.

Red Hat Premier Business Partner

Expert business partners with a significant focus on Red Hat related projects. Red Hat Premier Partners are well trainedand highly committed to working closely with Red Hat on business opportunities. They lead with top level services and customer satisfaction.

It's a simple structure that still gives you the flexibility to work with us in the way that makes most sense for your business and, the opportunity to access additional benefits in return for increasing your Red Hat skills and commitment to selling our products and solutions.

The New Partner Program. More Skills. More Solutions.

The Partner Program 3.0 provides three Red Hat Partner specialization tracks that will reflect your core business activity:

  • Data Center Infrastructure
  • Enterprise Middleware Solutions
  • Cloud Infrastructure

Training and specialization are crucial in enabling your organization to achieve Red Hat Advanced or Premier Business Partner status. As an Advanced or Premier Business Partner you can earn your specialization accreditation, either Data Center Infrastructure, Enterprise Middleware Solutions or Cloud Infrastructure. A Specialization accreditation is granted once you meet the base skill requirements for that specialization. The base skill and additional skills are achieved by training individuals in your company in three different roles: sales, sales engineer and delivery. In order to achieve the training requirement for a specialization you must have two individuals accredited per role, plus at least one Red Hat Training certification. Please note: one individual may hold all three accreditations.

Example

Specialization: Enterprise Middleware Solutions, Skill: Middleware Application

  • 2 Red Hat Sales Specialist – Middleware Application Development
  • 2 Red Hat Sales Engineer Specialist – Middleware ApplicationDevelopment
  • 2 Red Hat Delivery Sales Specialist – Middleware ApplicationDevelopment
  • 1 Red Hat Certified Java Developer (RHCJD) or 1 Red Hat Certified JBoss Administrator (RHCJA)

If you succeed in earning accreditations for all three roles and the one Red Hat Certification, you are right on target for becoming an Advanced Business Partner in the Enterprise Middleware Solutions Specialization.

The remaining program requirements for you to meet are:

  • 1 SEAP trained person
  • 1 customer reference
  • Active participation in Red Hat Marketing campaigns

Best of all: In the new Partner Program, all requiredtrainings – even the technical trainings and labs – are made available online and free of charge!
